Colour me beautiful…

Maurice is parked on the lawn while a funny small man puts in a new bathroom – there is a skip and a van in the drive where my smurf coloured MX5 normally takes pride of place. Needless to say, it’s put any work on hold for another week and as keen as I am to get stripping the car, I’m not daft enough to jack the car up on grass.
I have though filled in my time by scouring shops and Ebay for new supplies, parts and ideas. I always have one idea floating around in my small but permanently occupied brain and that is, what colour do I paint him? Then it came to me what with all the election coverage this week – how about the Union Jack?
I’m not a particularly patriotic person, in fact I’m not patriotic at all but I’ve always liked the Union Jack flag, for some reason…I like it even more now that it goes so well with a Mariner Blue under colour…see what I mean…

I’ve no idea who’s this car is – I whizzed the picture from a site called Carpenter Motor Sports – it someone who services Miatas in Utah but that’s pretty much all I could find out about them as the site is half built.
So I’m off to find out how to spray a car with the Union Jack – if this car is yours or you recognise it – you could always save me a job and let me know how you did it? Cracking good lines!
